Mini's, party favors and a craft fair...I have been busy!

Over the past few months I have had a couple of orders from friends and co-workers for party favors. I must say I enjoy it!

I had shared a table with a friend for my first craft fair...I learned a lot and will see about more in the future! I also created a ton of minis!

Layout Canvas's...Oh My!

Ok I am loving the look of a layout on a canvas. The first two I created for a craft fair in December and they were a hit! I paint the edges before adhering Prima mulberry stitched paper, then used flowers and trim and butterflies of course!

This canvas is a picture of my daughter and my grandpa (the last time before he passed away) this is priceless to me and hangs in my living room to cherish. I used My Minds Eye lifes journey collection and I am roses.

Cupcake stand

Ok so I have been MIA this summer has been busy with moving. I finally have a craft space (video soon). I also discovered this awesome flower company called I AM Roses.com I am in love with these flowers and it saved me a ton in compared to other brands. I am working on a few projects coming up...Here is one I created for my daughters birthday...I homeade cupcake stand...

Moving...

Well, I move to a bigger place in 2 weeks...and I am packing away. I see with over 15 large boxes of craft supplies and more to pack, I have too much...So as of today, I am on a buying freeze and challenging myself to use what I have BEFORE buying. I keep saying this I know...so I was thinking of putting challenges into action instead of just what I wish I could do. So after my place is set up, I will develop a challenge calendar and start...maybe even a couple ustream challenge chats...

I am also concerned with my health, I have been so stressed with school and ended up in the ER with high blood pressure. So after this semester I am taking off for a while. My concern is student loan repayments, so i will be trying to use my creativity to help that. So there is more crafting to come and preparing for fall craft shows!

I started this paper bag mini back in January, I finally did the front cover. I have been so busy with school and my daughter and I was actually able to find some free time, Yay!

Shopaholic!

They say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, so here it is..."my name is Susan and I am addicted to scrapbook shopping!" I spend more time shopping than I do creating! anyone else like this? So I am setting a goal...I have a budget to make one last trip to Micheals to stock up on adhesives this week and thats it until September!!! Can I do this?? I also am changing my scrapbook  method, usually I plan as I go....I find it better and faster if I plan out a few layouts then just assemble...So I am getting some 12x12 holders to do these page plans. My goal is to do 50, yes thats right 50 layouts by September! I have 8 planned...lets see how this goes...

Oh, I also never leave the site of setting a goal without doing something in action to obtain it...so I just ordered 200 pictures on snapfish.com, I am also making a resolution to not watch haul videos on youtube...I see new stuff and I cant get it out of my head! So here we go!
