I'm back!

I have been so busy, I moved and moving my craft room has not been fun :( the hardest part is not being able to craft. So I am back and wanted to share an adorable outfit I made for a friends daughter. She turned one and loves Minnie. Plus I got to play with my cricut explore! She looked so cute and loved her tutu! Anyway, it's a busy Saturday, I'm going to get out my scrapbooking supplies and have more fun! Have a great day!

Welcome 2015! New projects to start the year!

Hello again!

I wanted to share more projects that I have been working on. First is an altered chalkboard I purchased unfinished at Michaels. It is now a rather large magnet for my refrigerator. I used acrylic paint.. Grunge board pieces and prima bobble and flowers...
Next I made some pocket style cards for my Christmas pictures using lots of wood veneers and Pink Paislee paper...

Last is my favorite project..an altered composition book..this will be my scrappy journal/planner. Since I do albums of a mix of 12x12 and various pocket style pages I need to plan the album so I don't end up with blank pages. I used lots of distress ink and prima romantic paper. I have to say anything in this style paper is now in my shopping list! I love the beautiful distressing and blending :) I used a paper doily I die cut and a MME. Journal card. I used grunge board and prima elements.

My next project I have on my craft desk is a card...see you soon!

What have I been up to?

hello!!

I have neglected my scrappy blog over the past year! It is because I had another crafty venture that kept me busy... I was making girls tutus and hair accessories for sales. I loved it but I decided that my heart is not in it as much as paper crafts and it neglected my scrappy passion. So I am going to share the prijects I have worked on over the year but did not blog. My scrappy mojo is back and I will share those projects later today :-)

One happy tutu customer!
I hosted a baby shower at work...handmade the banner...
Made a onesie book for all guests to give well baby wishes and baby tips :-)

Over 2014 I participated in many craft shows selling my bows!

I have been busy...I am so excited to be scrapping and paper crafting more! I will post my scrappy projects later today.. Talk to you soon!

My First Canvas

What can I say I Love Art!! I wanted to try painting for quite sometime. My friend bought a condo and talked about needing wall art so I saw a perfect opportunity! This canvas was covered in liquitex sand medium.. Then I used Martha Stewart paints to do the blue ombré finish. I loved the result and so did he :)
